City Avenue Lane Closing Next Week For St Joe's Bridge Project Work

Crews will be performing curb and sidewalk construction as part of the project during the daytime next week, forcing a lane closure.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Work on St. Joseph's University's pedestrian bridge project will force a lane closure on a portion of City Avenue in Lower Merion and Philadelphia next week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, crews will be performing curb and sidewalk construction as part of the project during the daytime next week, forcing a lane closure.

The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The affected portion of road is between Cardinal Avenue and Lapsley Lane.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
