Feedback Wanted On New Ardmore Community Center, PALM Renovations

ARDMORE, PA —Residents are encouraged to share feedback on proposed plans for a new Ardmore Avenue Community Center and a renovated Positive Aging In Lower Merion (PALM) center.
The Lower Merion Township Feasibility Study Project Team and GKO Architects are hosting a community forum on October 23, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Vernon Young Memorial Park. Attendees can talk with the architects and study team, share ideas, and vote on plans.

A study published in 2016 found the current AACC space suffers from ongoing mechanical issues and is not adequate for current education programs. The study also found the current PALM building "doesn't function well for senior activities."
Both facilities, the study stated, "are well past their original intended useful life."
