Sugarloaf Craft Festival:
Where/When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m., Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks (100 Station Avenue Oaks, PA 19456)
Why Go: With more than 250 of the most celebrated artisans from around the country showing and selling their handcrafted work, the Sugarloaf Crafts Festival will return to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Friday, November 1, through Sunday, November 3.
Now in its 39th year, the Festival invites art enthusiasts to meet the jury-selected artists and purchase one-of-a-kind holiday gifts including functional and decorative pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, leather, wood, metal, furniture, home accessories, photography and fine art.

Bulb Sale
Where/When: Saturday, 9 a.m., Ricklin's hardware, 203 Haverford Rd, Narberth
Why Go: Buy quality
flower bulbs without the shipping fees at the right time for planting! Selection include old favorites and unique
varieties from the earliest snow crocuses to summer blooming alliums and lilies. Proceeds will be used for new plantings,
educational signs, tree care and other projects in the Merion Botanical Park in Merion Station. Shop early, supplies are limited!

Why Go: Gloria Steinem, the icon of the women’s movement, will visit Philadelphia to join Rabbi Arthur Waskow, social justice and faith-based activist, for a gala celebration benefiting The Shalom Center on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Pricing: Tickets for the Honor Event alone are $50, or $25 for students or disemployed (those who are jobless or underemployed). Dinner tickets are $180 (until Oct. 1), with advance registration required. Reservations recommended for the evening program.
