Lower Merion Political Group Endorses Harris For President
Indivisible Lower Merion endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.

LOWER MERION, PA — A group of politically-minded Lower Merion residents have come out in support of Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
Indivisible Lower Merion recently announced its endorsement of Harris for president in the upcoming election after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race.
Officials with the group said more than 97 percent of its members voted in favor of endorsing Harris recently.

"The hundreds of members of Indivisible Lower Merion are thrilled to join President Biden,
Indivisible.org, and a growing list of sister Indivisible groups across the nation in announcing its
endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris to be the 47th President of the United States," Joe Magid, head of the leadership team for Indivisible Lower Merion, said. "We’ve participated in meetings with leaders of sister groups across the country over the course of these last few weeks, most intensely the last several days. We are in full agreement with the overwhelming sentiment we’ve seen and heard that Kamala Harris leading our ticket will be, is, an awesome opportunity to excite new volunteers, bring new energy to all of our work, and start new and important conversations with voters. From across our movement, there is a clear consensus that Vice President Harris is the leader for this moment. We know we need every single vote, and we are all 100 percent ready to show up and make that happen."
Indivisible Lower Merion is an unincorporated group of concerned citizens in and around Lower Merion who follow the principles of the Indivisible Guide.

Members of Indivisible must be knowledgeable and effective political actors, officials said.
Its members advocate for policies that are inclusive, equitable, just, and compassionate, focusing on elected representatives, including members of congress, governor, state representatives and senators, and county and local board members.
