Learn About The Biggest Baseball Fan in Ardmore Patch

Jeanne Ozzimo sent in this photo to be named Ardmore Patch's greatest baseball fan.

The photo, taken last summer, is of Ozzimo and her dad. The whole family is full of Phillies fans, and for her dad's 80th birthday, the family celebrated by going to a game, and got the chance to sit in the Hall of Fame section.

The Phillies were losing the whole game, but ended up coming back to win it, Ozzimo recalls.

"My dad got me into the Phillies as a child and took me to many games and I am so grateful that at his age of 80, I now am able to take him!" she says.

Ozzimo says her photo deserves to win because she's a faithful fan. "I support the Phillies no matter how they are doing, good or not so good!"

Ozzimo's photo is now in the running to be Patch's Greatest Baseball Fan and take home the whole ball game of prizes. Voting for the regional contest will take place in the comments area of the regional voting article, from Wednesday, April 10 at 12:01 a.m. to Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m.
