Co-Owner of: Main Line Baking Co. at the Wynnewood train station (Frank Deasey is his father and the other owner of the bakery)

Age: 24

Year Established: 2011 but the Deaseys took over the bakery in January 2012.

Hometown: Wynnewood

Schooling: St. Joseph's Preparatory School and Fordham University.

Earlier Stints: Worked at the same location years ago for the Irish Bread Shop, another bakery that once occupied the spot at the Wynnewood train station. Before taking on the Main Line Baking Co., Deasey says he's been freelancing here and there.

Favorite Item at Main Line Baking Co.: Iced lemon cupcakes, coffee cake, vanilla cupcakes, and the chocolate chip cupcakes.

Do you have a gluten or dairy allergy?

No, but I just eat a lot of bread. And I'm more of a fan of rice. I've grown to like it more than gluten foods.

Why did you get into the business? 

I used to work at the Main Line Baking Co. and when I heard that they were trying to sell it, I thought it was a good opportunity. I liked the idea and I like the place. I kept the original recipes from the previous owners and I learned from them through observation.

What do you like about the area?

The heavily wooded areas and forest greenery. This area isn't as 'sprawly' as a lot of the areas that are just a suburban sprawl. I also like the creeks here.

What's Next?

We're hoping to expand and get more of our products in grocery stores like Whole Foods.
