Merion Art & Repro Final Hosting Community Party As Closure Looms

The longtime staple in the Main Line business and art communities is closing next month. They're throwing one last party to say goodbye.

ARDMORE, PA — Merion Art & Repro is closing after more than 50 years of doing business on the Main Line.

And to celebrate the store's farewell, owner Ed Gamburg is throwing a community party.

The party will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the store, 17 W. Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore.

"The Last Brushstroke: Farewell Celebration for Merion Art & Repro" is open to the entire community.

It will serve as a chance to say goodbye to Gamburg and the Merion Art & Repro team.

Attendees will be able to enjoy hot dogs, refreshments, and a special 40 percent off storewide discount during the event.

"Serving the Ardmore community has been a privilege, and we are grateful for the trust you have placed in us," Gamburg said. "We cherish the relationships we've built with each and every one of you and are deeply thankful for your ongoing support."
