New British Clothing Store Opening Next Week On Main Line
Seasalt Cornwall will open its third U.S. store in Ardmore's Suburban Square on Aug. 2, and is offering freebies next weekend.

ARDMORE, PA —A new clothing store is opening next weekend in Ardmore's Suburban Square.
Creative Cornish clothing brand Seasalt will open its doors to shoppers in Aug. 2.
Seasalt Cornwall invites the local community and visitors to celebrate the opening of the Ardmore store at the opening event Aug. 2 and Aug. 3, when there will be goodie bags, including Seasalt items, for the first 100 customers through the doors.

This new retail experience aims to attract a new customer audience who may not have discovered Seasalt yet.
Inspired by Cornwall's wild landscape and vibrant artistic culture, Seasalt's team of in-house designers and artists design all collections from their studios overlooking Falmouth Bay in Cornwall, on the southwest coast of Britain.

Seasalt prides itself on creating clothing and accessories that are made to last, crafting timeless styles from durable natural fabrics like GOTS-certified organic cotton, merino wool, bamboo-derived viscose and linen. Inclusivity is incredibly important to the brand, and their clothing range offers a diverse choice of fits.
With its distinctive mix of artistic prints and Cornish-inspired color palette, Seasalt is excited to bring stylish apparel and accessories to the shoppers of Ardmore.
Women's wear collections will be made up of transitional pieces to take the customer through the rest of the spring-summer season, with a nod to cooler days on the horizon. These will include flowing cotton dresses in bold and beautiful prints, structured trousers and shirts, and a variety of lightweight knitwear across vests and jumpers, perfect for layering.
The collection also comprises key shapes in jersey tops, including Seasalt’s hero Sailor Shirt, as well as jeans in a variety of fits.
The Rainwear department features a mix of fashion forward and practical styles, all 100 percent waterproof. Accessories provide a finishing touch, with beautiful jewelry, statement bags and distinctive prints in scarves.
The Ardmore store will also showcase the Seasalt Menswear range, with essential outfitting pieces, paired back with easy to wear basics across t-shirts and shirts that will see customers through the season.
The store will employ a team of eight local employees, led by Store Manager Faith Tatem.
All fixtures, fittings & materials have been designed & chosen with sustainability, longevity and flexibility in mind.
The interior design will also feature artwork from both Cornwall and the US, with carefully selected prints from the Tate St. Ives collection, along with hand painted artwork from local signwriter Greg Lytle and his talented team from Philadelphia, using Seasalt designs.
