Santa Coming To Ardmore For Holiday-Themed First Thursday Next Week
The Ardmore Initiative's First Thursday next week will feature vendors, food trucks, wine, whiskey, and visits from Santa and Mrs Claus.

ARDMORE, PA — This Thursday, Schauffele Plaza in Ardmore will turn into a holiday market as part of the Ardmore Initiative's First Thursday program.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Schauffele Plaza will have vendors, live music, food trucks, wine, whiskey, and even visits from Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, who will be on hand from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Local vendors set to participate in the holiday market include Char & Stave, Wallace Dry Goods, CURE de Repos.
Ardmore Initiative Director Nancy Scarlato told Patch about 10 vendors total are participating in the market.

She said kids will also be able to write letters to Santa and drop them off in a box that will send the letters directly to the North Pole.
"We're excited," Scarlatao said of Thursday's event. "It will be an opportunity to walk around, meet Santa, grab a quick dinner, and get a drink."
She expects a sizable crowd to show up for holiday fun.
Thursday's event marks the second holiday installment of First Thursday in Ardmore.
On Saturday, the Ardmore Initiative's Downtown Dollars program that aims to encourage local spending will begin offering a deal on gift cards. Anyone who buys a $100 Downtown Dollars gift card will get a free $50 gift card. Additionally, purchasing a $50 gift card will get you a free $20 gift card.
