See How Much Lower Merion Spent On Booze In 2024

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Tipplers in the Lower Merion Township spent more than $25.5 million on alcohol in 2024, according to the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board released its annual report recently.
And the report features sale figures for individual Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores across the state.

Three of those are in Lower Merion Township.
The store in the Ardmore Shopping Center, 62 Greenfield Ave., sold $11.77 million worth of alcohol over 211,745 transactions in 2024. Last year's average transaction was $55.58. It was No. 22 in terms of 2024 sales

Bala Cynwyd's Fine Wine and Good Spirits store, 119 W. City Ave., sold $9.16 million worth of alcohol in 2024 over the course of 262,810 transactions, putting it at No. 58 in the state for sales. The average transaction was $35.85.
In Bryn Mawr, the store at 922 W. Lancaster Ave. totaled 114,093 in 2024 to the tune of $4.62 million. The average transaction was $40.53. It was No. 228 in sales across the state.
Montgomery County's stores had the third-highest sales of all Pennsylvania counties, with $246.79 million in 2024.
