Social Media's Impact On Kids Topic Of Upcoming LMSD Discussion

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Social media is ubiquitous in many people's lives, especially children.

With that in mind, the Interschool Council and Lower Merion School District Student Services Department is hosting a discussion on social media's impact on children.

The discussion will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9 on Zoom.

Licensed clinical psychologist and Associate Director of Clinical Training in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania Dr. Melissa Hunt will lead the talk.

Hunt will touch on the ever-changing landscape of social media and its impact on adolescents
