Traffic Shifting On City Ave For St Joe's Bridge Pedestrian Project
Traffic will shift on northbound City Avenue and the southbound left turn lane onto Cardinal Avenue from City Avenue, PennDOT said.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Work on the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge on City Avenue will continue this week, forcing a 24-hour-a-day traffic shift.
According to PennDOT, construction will continue under a local project to improve the St. Joseph’s University pedestrian bridge.
Due to the work, a traffic shift is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between Cardinal Avenue and Lapsley Lane and the southbound left turn lane onto Cardinal Avenue from U.S. 1 (City Avenue).

This will be in place Monday through Friday.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
