Trash, Recycling Collections Shifting For Labor Day In Lower Merion
Lower Merion Township is also closing its offices and libraries Monday in observance of the holiday.
LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Labor Day is Monday, and that means Lower Merion Township is suspending its trash and recycling collections for the day.
The suspension means trash and recycling collections will be shifted all next week.
With the holiday on Monday, collections will be pushed back a day for each zone.

Below is the week's collection schedule:
- Zone 1 — Tuesday
- Zone 2 — Wednesday
- Zone 3 — Thursday
- Zone 4 — Friday

Contact the Lower Merion Township Refuse Office at 610-667-1952 or 610-667-1953 between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m with questions about holiday week collections.
The Township Administration Building, Township Treasurer's Office and all Township Libraries will also be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day.
