Crime Stats: Robbery, Fire, Burglaries

Lower Merion police responded to 238 calls throughout Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley the week ending Sunday, Nov. 11, down from 344 calls the week before, department records show.

The police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:

• 5 animal incidents
• 4 burglaries in Bala Cynwyd and Belmont Hills
• 1 chimney fire Nov. 6 on the 300 block of North Essex Avenue in Narberth
• 2 fraud cases
• 4 car crashes with injuries
• 13 car crashes with property damage
• 1 (attempted) robbery Nov. 6 at Citibank in Bala Cynwyd
• 7 thefts
