Driver In Deadly City Ave Hit-And-Run Identified, Vehicle Found: Cops
Police said the vehicle that struck and killed a 61-year-old woman who used a wheelchair has been found, and its driver has been identified.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — Lower Merion Township Police said the driver and vehicle involved in the recent fatal hit-and-run have been identified and found.
Police said they found the striking vehicle, a Toyota Camry, Wednesday.
They also said the driver has been identified and is cooperating with investigators.

The deadly incident occurred at about 2:14 a.m. Monday to 5 W. City Ave. in Bala Cynwyd for a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
There, police found a 61-year-old, formerly of Philadelphia and unhoused at the time of the crash, suffering from critical injuries.

Police said the woman used a wheelchair and was known to frequent the City Avenue corridor in Bala Cynwyd.
She was ejected from her wheelchair in the crash, then was tended to by officers and Narberth Medics before being taken to Lankenau Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
