How Many Babies Are Delivered at Your Hospital?
Local maternity units have each had hundreds of births so far this year.

Starting with baby Hannah on New Year's Day, hospitals in the Patch towns of greater Philadelphia have delivered more than 2,000 babies in the first three months of 2013.
For January through March, the busiest maternity unit was at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnewood, Lower Merion. Main Line Health statistics show 602 births during that time frame.
Another Main Line Health facility, Paoli Hospital, delivered 537 babies in the first three months of 2013.

Close behind was Chester County Hospital in West Chester, with 527 deliveries.
Two other Main Line Health facilities, Bryn Mawr Hospital and Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, delivered 378 and 210 babies respectively in January through March, the company reported.

The Birth Center in Bryn Mawr had 125 deliveries in the first quarter, according to staff there.
Patch could not immediately determine the number of births at Phoenixville Hospital but will update this article with that information when it becomes available.
