Lower Merion Closes Transfer Station Through March 23

The Lower Merion Township Transfer Station will be closed to all residential and commercial drop offs through March 23, officials said.

PENN VALLEY, PA — Lower Merion Township said Wednesday that it will close the township's transfer station in Penn Valley.

The transfer station will be closed to all residential and commercial drop offs through Monday, March 23.

While the transfer station is closed, the township said trash and recycling collections will go on as scheduled. However, leaf collections may be delayed.

The transfer station is located at 1300 Woodbine Ave. in Penn Valley.

The Lower Merion Transfer Station at 1300 Woodbine Avenue will be closed to commercial and residential drop off through Monday, March 23, 2020. Regular trash and recycling collection routes will continue. Leaf bag pickup may experience delay.
