Lower Merion police reported the past week's incidents on Monday afternoon.

The following incidents in Narberth and Bala Cynwyd were reported in the week ending Nov. 4, according to Lower Merion police:
- Attempted burglaries: Someone tried to enter two sixth-floor medical office suites in One Bala Plaza between Oct. 26 and Oct. 29, police said. Employees of both suites showed up early the morning of Monday, Oct. 29, to find the door locks had been broken or tampered with, after the suites had been secured Friday afternoon. It does not appear anyone was able to break into the suites, police said.
- Retail theft: Police said about 10 a.m. Nov. 3, a man in a dark Nissan Pathfinder pulled up in front of Lord & Taylor on City Avenue. He ran in, grabbed 10 women's wool coats worth a combined $2,450, ran back out, put them in the trunk and drove away, police said. He was described only as a light-skinned man in dark pants and a dark baseball cap worn backwards.
