Sabrina Carpenter Shouts Out Main Line In Grammy Acceptance Speech
The Bucks County native Sunday night gave a shout-out to the Main Line while accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — The Main Line got a shoutout at the 67th Annual Grammy Award ceremony Sunday night.
During the biggest night in music, Quakertown's Sabrina Carpenter was awarded the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Carpenter's sixth studio album "Short and Sweet" secured her the award.

During her speech, Carpenter thanked a bevvy of people for helping her achieve the milestone success.
Among them, her mother, who drove her to the Main Line from Bucks County for vocal lessons.

"I want to thank my mom for driving me to every voice lesson in Bala Cynwyd," she said while accepting the award.
Carpenter took lessons at Cavell Music Studio in Bala Cynwyd.
Carpenter also performed the Grammy-winning song "Espresso," for which she won the Best Pop Solo Performance Grammy, and her other major hit "Please Please Please" during the ceremony.
Overall, she was nominated for six Grammys:
- Best New Artist
- Album of the Year
- Best Pop Vocal Album
- Song of the Year — "Please Please Please"
- Record of the Year — "Espresso"
- Best Pop Solo Performance
