Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP)

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) changes lives by providing scholarship funding for Philadelphia families to choose a tuition-based school that meets their student’s educational needs. CSFP is the largest and most diverse provider of K-8th scholarship support in Pennsylvania, focusing on the highest-need students in the lowest-achieving schools in the city. During the 2025-26 school year, CSFP awarded more than 6,800 scholarships for K-8th grade students enrolled at nearly 150 area tuition-based schools. Updated 2 p.m.: SEPTA tweeted Wednesday afternoon that the Paoli-Thorndale suspension will last into Thursday morning.  has temporarily suspended service on the <a href="http://www.septa.org/schedules/rail/pdf/tho.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Paoli-Thorndale Regional Rail line.</a> In a tweet just after 8 a.m. Wednesday, SEPTA said downed power lines had forced the service suspension, and by noon the suspension remained. <a href="http://www.septa.org/alert/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">SEPTA's website alert</a> does not indicate when the transit agency expects service to resume. The propblem has also temporarily stopped <a href="http://www.amtrak.com/servlet/ContentServer?c=Page&amp;pagename=am%2FLayout&amp;cid=1237608335997" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Amtrak Service</a> between Philadelphia and Harrisburg, which run on the same track lines.
