Teens Taken Into Custody After Stolen Car Chase In Bala Cynwyd: Police
Three teenagers, 16 and 17 years old, led police on a chase in a stolen vehicle Tuesday before being apprehended, authorities said.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — Three teenagers were taken into custody by Pennsylvania State Police Tuesday after leading troopers on a chase in Bala Cynwyd, police said.
The incident started at 11:02 a.m. when a state police trooper stopped a Kia Optima at Righters Ferry Road and Belmont Avenue that was reportedly stolen out of Philadelphia.
Police said the vehicle fled from the stop, and police pursued the vehicle.

Eventually, police used a precision immobilization technique to stop the vehicle on the 200 block of Garnet Lane in Bala Cynwyd.
The driver and two passengers, ages 16 to 17, were taken into custody after trying to run off, police said.
