Whitehall Man Charged with Open Lewdness, Indecent Exposure

Police are charging a Whitehall Borough man with public drunkenness, indecent exposure and open lewdness after an incident along Baptist Road on Friday night.

Nicholas Bernarding, 22, of Echo Glen Drive, was arrested after he staggered up the 4800 block of Baptist Road at around 10:15 that night, fell into another Whitehall resident's shrubbery and urinated on Baptist while a crowd of people had gathered around him, Whitehall police Chief Donald R. Dolfi said.

Police were notified of the man's condition by two female pedestrians who waved down an officer's vehicle.
