$182K Stolen Outside Bensalem Bank

Video shows two vehicles book-ending the victim's vehicle and a robber opening the passenger side door to steal a bag full of money.

BENSALEM, PA — Police in Bensalem are investigating a robbery outside a local bank that netted a robber a massive pay day — at least for now.

The robbery happened Monday, Oct. 7, in the parking lot of the TD Bank at 2751 Street Rd.

According to police, the robber opened the front passenger door of the victim's vehicle and stole a black duffel bag that contained $182,000. The robber was in a black Honda CRV and police believe a gold minivan may also have been involved in the robbery.

Police on Thursday shared surveillance video of the robbery. The video (see below) shows the CRV pull into the parking lot on one side of the victim's vehicle and the gold minivan pull in on the other.

The robber steps out, reaches into the victim's vehicle then quickly gets back into the Honda, which drives away. At almost the same time, the minivan drives away as well.
