$3M Bail For Man Charged With Child Pornography In Bensalem

Bensalem Police said ​Terrel Roane used a KIK account to share child pornography with other users.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A 21-year-old man has been charged with child pornography possession after police were alerted by a cyber tip.

Terrel Roane, 21, is being held on $3 million bail on charges of sexual abuse of children, possession and distribution of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility.

He was arraigned Tuesday by District Justice Joseph Falcone and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

Bensalem Police said on Jan. 7 that they received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding an online messaging account uploading and sharing child pornography.

The Kik account named "Ruckybuckets" shared files depicting sexual acts between an adult female and a prepubescent male, as well as prepubescent children performing sexual acts with dogs, police said.

Bensalem Detectives tracked the source of those messages to a home in the 3300 block of Pasqualone Boulevard and obtained a warrant to search the house.

On Tuesday, Bensalem Police executed the warrant and arrested Roane.

Roane told detectives that he was the one utilizing the Kik account and that he had used that account to share child pornography with other Kik users, police said.
