Halloween-Themed Art Exhibition Open At Gladwyne Library

An art reception will be held Thursday evening with food, beer, and more. Costumes and/or black and orange attire are highly encouraged.

GLADWYNE, PA — The Gladwyne Library is now hosting a Halloween -themed art exhibit.

"Pumpkins, Witches, Ghosts, & Ghouls...Oh My" is on display at the library now.

"Halloween is not only about putting on a costume, but it's about finding the imagination and costume within ourselves as you get to become anything that you want to be," according to the library. "Our group of elders (12 collage artists of a 'certain age') will create and display family friendly collage art showing the magic, fun, and mystery of Halloween together with informational posters showing the celebration's history and interesting facts."

The exhibit will have an art reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the library's second floor.

There will be beer, pretzels, and more.

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes or black and orange attire at the reception.

The exhibit is open during regular library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Gladwyne Library is located at 362 Righters Mill Road in Gladwyne.
