Harriton Honors Students To Pack, Deliver Donations For Families In Need
National Honor Society students at Harriton High School will pack and donate items for Montgomery County families in need.
BRYN MAWR, PA — Members of Harriton High School's National Honor Society are hosting a food drive for Montgomery County families in need amid the holidays.
Harriton students will gather in the high school cafeteria Wednesday afternoon to sort and pack donated items into personalized boxes destined for families identified by county social workers.
Then on Friday morning, more than 100 students, with help from the Lower Merion School District Operations Department staff, will deliver the boxes to the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth offices in Norristown.

Students from Harriton High School’s National Honor Society are holding a food drive to benefit Montgomery County families in need of nutritional support for Thanksgiving and beyond.
This marks the 13th year that Harriton’s NHS students have partnered with the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth. The students collected food and monetary donations from their classmates, school staff and families beginning in early November.

According to the district, the students expect to deliver 100 boxes, as well as grocery gift cards.
Harriton High School National Honor Society advisor Donna Rossi coordinates the annual project, which is now in its 13th year.
