Private Theater Rentals Available At Bryn Mar Film Institute

BRYN MAWR, PA — Catching a movie in a theater almost seems like a dream these days after the coronavirus pandemic led officials to shutter theaters due to health concerns.

But you and 14 others can have trip to the movies all by yourselves thanks to new a new offering from the Bryn Mawr Film Institute

The Bryn Mawr Film Institute will begin offering private theater rentals Thursday.

Private theater rentals allow up to 15 people to watch their favorite film in one of BMFI’s theaters.

Rentals start at $250 and allow patrons to watch their favorite classic movies on the big screen; patrons can even rent theaters to play video games. All rentals include up to $100 of BMFI concessions at no additional charge.

Members get 10 percent off private rentals.

Prices vary depending on day of the week, time of day, and the length of your selected film. Full prices, details and supported media formats are available online here.

Staff and patrons are required to wear masks properly, over the nose and mouth, while inside BMFI, unless a patron is enjoying concessions while seated in the theater.
