Woodmere’s holiday exhibition, Merry and Bright II: The Christmas Collection of Jeanette Turnbull, will open Saturday, too.

Turnbull will "deck the halls" at Woodmere with an installation of vintage and contemporary decorations.

In addition, children’s toys, holiday trimmings, a dollhouse replica of a Germantown home, and a sculpture of Belsnickel, a Christmas figure from German folklore—on loan from the Germantown Historical Society—will bring 19th century holiday traditions to life.

Also on view from Nov. 23 through Jan. 5, 2020, is Golden Slippers: Images of the Mummers from Woodmere’s Collection shows the colorful and elaborate costumes that have captured the imagination of many of the city’s artists.
