Friends Of Wissahickon Hosting Free Ice Cream Event Next Week
The stewardship group is inviting everyone to its free Annual Ice Cream Social event at the Woodmere Art Museum in Chestnut Hill next week.
CHESTNUT HILL, PHILADELPHIA — Wissahickon Valley Park stewards Friends of the Wissahickon are inviting the community to their free Annual Ice Cream Social.
The group is hosting the 15h annual event from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at the Woodmere Art Museum, 9201 Germantown Ave.
Bredenbeck’s Bakery will provide the ice cream and non-dairy sorbet.

Guests can check out Woodmere’s current exhibitions.
Explore the sculpture collection on the museum’s six acres, including the current La Cresta land-sculpting installation, inspired by the ancient European horticultural practice of hügelkulture.
