Jewish Centre Open House and Everything You Need to Know About Wednesday

Here's everything you need to know about Wednesday, Aug. 7.

Business Networking: The Business Association of Mt. Airy will host a networking session at the Mt. Airy USA offices at 6703 Germantown Avenue, Suite 200 (above the post office at Phil-Ellena St. and Germantown Avenue- enter from back parking lot) at 1:30 p.m.

Open House: The Germantown Jewish Centre will be hosting an open house on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at 7 p.m.  An evening of Jewish community, arts, music, study and dessert that will give visitors a taste of what happens there throughout the year.

This day in history: On August 7, 1794, George Washington essentially declares martial law in order to suppress the Whiskey Rebellion in western Pennsylvania.
