'Queer Eye' Philadelphia Season Premiers June 5
Season five of the popular Netflix series will air June 5, with the "Fab 5" giving lucky Philadelphia-area residents their lifestyle advice.

PHILADELPHIA — Last year, Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Karamo Brown, Bobby Berk, and Jonathan Van Ness — AKA the "Fab 5" — were in the Philadelphia area filming the hit Netflix series "Queer Eye."
And now about a year later, we will be able to watch them transform the lives of some lucky Philadelphia-area residents.
Season five of the show will debut June 5 on Netflix, according to the streaming service.

This season will be 10 episodes, making it the longest season of the show.
The poster for season five is a take on the famous Emanuel Leutze painting "Washington Crossing the Delaware."

Aboard a row boat, the cast is depicted rowing south on the Delaware River, with the Ben Franklin Bridge and Philadelphia skyline in the background.
The five spend episodes helping turn around a lucky person's life through fashion, food, culture, decor, and more.
Brown was a cast member of MTV's "Real World: Philadelphia," which aired in late 2004 and early 2005.
Filming in Philadelphia stirred some controversy, however.
Workers of color at the Center City Old Navy location claimed they were hidden during filming.
One employee claimed white workers from stores in West Chester, Mount Pocono, and New Jersey were brought in to be in the shots.
Netflix and the "Queer Eye" team had no knowledge of the alleged "whitewashing," according to s statement from the streaming service.
