Vandal Hits Philadelphia Mosque, Police Seek Suspect

PHILADELPHIA — Police in Philadelphia are asking for help finding a suspect who vandalized a mosque over the weekend.

The vandalism occurred at about 11:57 p.m. Friday at Masjidullah the Center for Human Excellence on the 7400 block of Limekiln Pike.

According to police, a man was seen on camera painting Stars of David, a cross, and the words "Jesus Christ" and "say my name" on the mosque.

The suspect was described as a black man in his late 40s who was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, a dark baseball style hat, and a tan backpack.

If you see this suspect, do not approach him and instead contact 911 immediately.
