Wissahickon Park Workday: The Friends of the Wissahickon will host a workday in the Wissahickon Park on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. From the organizers: "FOW will continue the restoration of the Blue Bell Hill picnic area by building another berm to divert water and repacking a short section of trail in order to reduce erosion. Volunteers will also revisit earlier tree plantings and perform some light maintenance while hiking on the trail adjacent to the gully restoration. Meet at the Blue Bell Hill Pavilion."
