grader? Join Eco Explorers for Jr. Geologists at Providence Heights Alpha School in Allison Park this June 24-28!!!

JR GEOLOGIST

Are you mad for minerals, crazy for crystals, frenzied for

fossils? You belong among the Jr. Geologists! During an action-packed

week designed for the geo-enthusiast, we'll grow glowing crystals, crack

giant geodes, recreate volcanic eruptions, and unravel the mysteries of

rocks and minerals with the tools of professionals. We'll put your

skills to the test to identify real rubies and emeralds among fakes,

make a cast of a trilobite fossil and even travel back in time to pan

gold! Together, we'll discover more about Pittsburgh's fascinating

prehistoric history and crack local ancient rocks to find fossils that

haven't seen the light of day for millions of years!
