Cranberry Fire Company To Mark 9/11 Anniversary

The Cranberry Volunteer Fire Company plans a solemn remembrance on the upcoming anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company will continue its tradition of remembering 9/11 next week on the 23rd anniversary of the terrorist attacks in New York City, Washington D.C. and Shanksville PA.

The event at the fire company will begin with the raising of the flag at sunrise, which occurs at 6:58 a.m. Chief John Pristas will play taps at the memorial at the time each event throughout the morning. The colors will be retired at sunset, which occurs at 7:35 p.m.

The public is welcome to visit the memorial throughout the day or any day.
