Cranberry To Hold Fire Cadet Academy
The township hopes to attract teens to its volunteer fire department.

CRANBERRY, PA — Volunteer firefighters are the foundation of most suburban communities' public safety systems. That is what makes the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company’s Fire Cadet Academy so vital.
Set for July 24-28, the program is open to teens ages 14-18 who want to one day become firefighters – or just want to know more about the job.
Participants do not need to reside in Cranberry.
