Cranberry To Host Scouting Event

Whether your child is a Boy Scout, Girl Scout or Cub Scout, they'll have fun things to do at the upcoming scouting soiree.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - The township is hosting a family-oriented scouting event open to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and anyone in the area curious about scouting opportunities. The event will be held May 26 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Graham Park fishing pond and scout plaza.

Cub Scout and Girl Scout units will participate in a variety of activities, including fishing - for which loaner gear will be available - miniature boat making and racing, a 1.2 mile hike along the Brush Creek Trail and more.

For more information about the event or scouting in general should contact BSA district executive Gregory Pistner at: Gregory.Pistner@scouting.org.
