Cranberry Launches Title The Truck Contest

If you're creative in naming heavy-duty public works vehicles, Cranberry has a contest for you.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — The township’s vehicle name contest is getting a makeover in 2024.

The new Title the Truck contest replaces the Name the Snowplow event after two successful years.
challenges participants to create a unique, Cranberry-centric name for one of the Public Works Department’s all-season trucks used for snow removal in the winter, road paving in the summer and various other projects.

Names will be accepted from Feb. 1-16 via a survey at cranberrytownship.org/TitleTheTruck.

Each participant can submit up to two names. Five entries will be selected, and public voting will run from Feb. 19 through March 16 via the Township’s website and social media pages.

The winning slogan will be announced March 21 and included on a design placed on a township truck. The person making the winning suggestion will receive a township prize pack.
