Cranberry Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash

PITTSBURGH, PA — A Cranberry man died Friday evening in a motorcycle accident in Pittsburgh's Mt. Washington section.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said first responders were sent to Route 51 between Woodruff Street and Crane Avenue for reports of the crash at around 8:30 p.m. on Friday. They found the driver of the vehicle unresponsive on the road and pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Aiden Tanner, 19, of Cranberry.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Authorities said Turner was wearing a helmet. Several witnesses were interviewed. Speed is believed to be a factor.
