Cranberry Man, Sharpsburg Woman Face Capitol Riot Charges

A Pittsburgh-area man and woman have been charged with participating in the January 2021 insurrection.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Two Pittsburgh-area residents are among the latest people to be charged with participating in the Capitol riot in January 2021.

Melanie Archer, 42, of Sharpsburg and Jordan Bonenberger, 28, of Cranberry are facing federal criminal charges.

Both been charged with entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds; disorderly conduct in a Capitol building; and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.
