Cranberry Seeking Leaf Angel Volunteers
Here's what you need to know about this year's Cranberry Township Leaf Angels Program.
CRANBERRY, PA — With autumn just days away, the township is preparing to activate its annual Leaf Angels program, which matches regional volunteers with residents living in the 16066 zip code who are unable to rake and collect leaves.
The program runs from November 1 until the end of yard waste collection.
Applications for Leaf Angel volunteers opens Sept. 30. Volunteers are required to complete the online application which includes aliability waiver and photography use agreement. All participants must complete, electronically sign, and submit the form before a volunteer

Volunteers must be age 15 or older or be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Leaf angels should bring their own rakes, gloves and leaf bags, although five bags will be donated by the township and available for pickup at the municipal center customer service center.

The Township requires that all leaves collected be deposited in yard waste carts or disposed of in biodegradable bags and left at the curb for collection, per Vogel Waste Disposal requirements. No loose leaves or unapproved plastic bags will be accepted.
