Cranberry Teen Abducted At Gunpoint During Home Invasion
The terrifying incident happened early Tuesday, police said.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Cranberry teen was bound and abducted during a home invasion early Tuesday.
Police were called to an address in Stockton Ridge, a gated community in the northern end of the township, at around 1:30 a.m. for a reported kidnapping. A 39-year old woman told officers that two men entered her home with weapons, bound her 17-year-old son and ransacked the house.
The intruders left the residence and took the teen with them at gunpoint, fleeing in the victim's vehicle. The car was abandoned a short distance away, where police believe another vehicle was waiting.

At around 5 a.m., Beaver County 911 received a call from the victim from a convenience store in Rochester. He has been reunited with his mother.
Information gathered up to this point lead investigators to believe that the robbery and abduction was not random and this family was targeted for reasons unknown at this time.
