GetGo Cranberry Customers Can Soon Bypass Checkout Lines
GetGo customers in Cranberry, Ross, Wexford and Mars can soon pay for purchases via a free app.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Customers in four North Hills GetGo convenience store locations can soon bypass checkout lines merely by downloading a free app.
North Hills GetGos in Ross, Wexford, Cranberry and Mars are installing Grabango tehcnology. When customers with the app visit a Grabango-enabled store, the system keeps track of the products they pick up. When they are done shopping, they scan a code in the app and payment is automatic; the receipt is stored in the app.
Giant Eagle, which operates the GetGo stores, first began using Grabango at the O'Hara GetGo last year. The North Hills locations were chosen to create a local network effect so shoppers can use the app at multiple GetGo locations in their area.
