Man Nabbed In Cranberry Underage Prostitution Sting Sentenced

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Pittsburgh man was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to a felony charge related to his arrest by township police in a Nov. 2021 underage prostitution sting.
Mark Joseph Paliotta, 49, was sentenced in Butler County Common Pleas Court after a plea agreement reached after the incident, in which he went to a Cranberry hotel for an encounter with an underage prostitute. Township police took him into custody in the sting operation, which also involved the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office and the Department of Homeland Security.
According to court documents, Paliotta was placed on probation for 48 months. He also was ordered to follow the county probation office’s rules for sexual offenders and report to state police for the next 25 years as a Megan's Law offender.
