Pens Star To Attend Opening Of Cranberry Milkshake Factory

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA - Penguins winger Jake Guentzel and team mascot Iceburgh will be on hand Sept. 27 when The Milkshake Factory celebrates the grand opening of its latest location in Cranberry. Guentzel and Iceburgh will appear from 5:30 p.m. to 7:3o p.m.

The Cranberry location is on Mackenzie Way next to the Lemieux Sports Complex.

Using farm fresh dairy locally sourced from Rivendale Farms, the Milk Shake Factory serves handspun shakes, craft sundaes, and gourmet chocolates. The establishment dates back to 1914, when it operated as small soda fountain in Lawrenceville, but the factory's modern era began in 1978 with the opening of the South Side location.
