Pittsburgh Youth Hockey Coach Facing Juvenile Sex Abuse Charges
A Pittsburgh-area youth hockey coach has been accused of sexually abusing two youths over a prolonged period.
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Cranberry youth hockey coach has been accused of sexually abusing two juveniles while living in Iowa.
Kyle Dirks, 38, has been accused of two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child and four counts of sexual abuse in the second degree in Woodbury County, KCAU-TV in Sioux City reported.
Both victims told authorities that Dirks would pick them up, take them out to eat and then back to his house. While there, both victims alleged he touched them inappropriately multiple times.

One victim claimed the abuse first happened when in 2018 when they were 8 and ended in 2021 when Dirks moved away.
Dirks faces a court hearing on Oct. 10.

Dirks had been associated with the Shane Clifford Goalie School in Harmar, which announced Wednesday he no longer was affiliated with the school.
