Renovations To UPMC Passavant Sportsplex In Cranberry Hit Snag

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — Upgrades including expanding the pickleball area, constructing a new basketball court and relocating the tennis courts at the UPMC Passavant Sportsplex at Graham Park have been slightly delayed.

Township supervisors in June sought bids for renovations of, and expansion to, the sportsplex. But after two rounds of bids, supervisors have opted to reject the most recent proposals.

Supervisors instead authorized a new bidding process that includes seeking a more efficient and cost-effective approach for the project.

Work on the project still is slated to be performed later this year.
