There's a lot happening this weekend, including several events worth checking out in the South Hills and Washington County.

  • Beach Treats Gifts in Brookline is hosting a Tailgate Party on Friday, Aug. 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. Raffles, secret sales, and door prizes will be available—as well as plenty of new parking spaces, since Boulevard construction in front of the shop is now complete. 
  • An art show grand opening is happening Friday, Aug. 23 at Bridgeville Public Library, starting at 6 p.m. The show features the frontier art of Andrew Knez, Jr. and the black & white photography of Tim Anderson. Check out this article or this event listing for more information.
