Trade Unions Offer On-the-Job Training Programs
In the region, 17 trade unions offer apprenticeships and job skills that lead to good-paying jobs.

The Pittsburgh Regional Building Trades Council member unions offer 17 tuition-free apprenticeship programs in western Pennsylvania.
The programs provide on-the-job training and classroom studies. Altogether, the regional union trades invest more than $10 million annually in their training centers and apprenticeship programs.
