When/Where: 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 12 at Beulah Presbyterian Church, 4500 McCrady Road, Churchill.

Why Go:Â The menu includes buttermilk, buckwheat and gluten-free pancakes, and the morning will feature a special performance by the Beulah Praise Band.

Why Go: Come and enjoy the fresh produce, artisan breads, freshly prepared pierogies, berries, pasta and organic fare. Plus, meet the local farmers who bring healthy food options. The market is run by the Forest Hills Late Bloomers Garden Club.Â

Why Go:  It’s the 20th annual Howl-O-Ween pet parade and costume party, featuring pet photos, a pet costume contest and parade, refreshments, games, goodies and more. Costumes for both pets and their people are strongly encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes.Admission: $20 one pet, $25 two or three pets. Register here.Â
